haha`` just came back from batam on sunday...
sat a 1 hr boat ride and got to see dl and underwater world... the irony, i message azi and told her how much i missed working there since i'm schooling... then she said that they were in need of workers and i said that i'd be glad to help asnul if he needed the extra help and guess what he did... so now i'm hooked up for sunday and saturday's duty.. what luck`` but i won't get to see josh.. which according to azi is a very cute guy... hmm can't wait i guess...
anyway, batam was not as intriguing as i thought it was... i imagined it to be a very scenic place with world class resorts and sandy clean beaches.. when i got there i thought to myself,"guess i got the wrong place"... the resort we were staying in was pretty cool, it was quite new i think and i must say, very beautiful... but besides the resort, the city was about 1/2 an hour away from the resort and places like batam centre and nagoya was nothing but 3 storey badly lit shopping centre selling imitationed goods... it was like a air conditioned pasar malam... or what you would call a night market.. we did not really see the "village" side of it as i thought it would be like... my dad told me the place i was looking for is bali not batam... could be bintan or tioman too... oh welll... but i managed to buy a phone there which cost a lot cheaper than here,,, $200 cheaper in fact... okae, gonna TRY to map out my formal report so that i can start typing it tmr... sigh... it'd be a hectic week...
