ooo just came back from the hospital for a endoscope`` ou know, stuffing the camera down your throat and seeing if there's anything wrong with your tummy.. cos for the past few years, i've been having bad cases of discomfort in my tummy.. the kind of supressing feeling you will get from like gastric or heartburn... yup. thought it was gastric initially but apparently gastric occurs before you eat your meal, not after, which i usually encounter.. so yup... the experience was erm.... i don't know if horrifying was the word..
basically i was dressed in a gown and asked to lie on a operating table-like table. duh. and theni was giving local anesthesia to numb the back of my throat.. this was ssUper uncomfortable as the muscles were numbed and laxed.. it was as if botox was injected.. then the doc came in and asked that i be given sedation.. but i requested not to.. but in the end the doctor still advised me to go for sedation so i was given the jab...
"are you sleepy yet?" nurse
"no." still very wide awake.
doctor comes and stuffs the pipe down my throat... it felt very very uncomfortable.. but i was thinking, hey, you had your stitches on your hand and they split.. what's this? nothing. so he was there and i was drooling very badly, yes i know, its so unglamourous... and just when i was thinking, when is this going to end, hey, the tube was oulled outta my mouth` yayy relief`... but hmm... that's like only less than 2 minutes???
i was wheeled out of the room and into a resting area and wsa told to lie on the bed... my movements were very uncoordinated.. it was like hey itchy arm. rise hand to scratch the bed instead... yea i was s . l . o . w. very in fact... i figured that even though i THOUGHT that i was WIDE awake the whole time, i was actually lingering from sleep and being awake... i swear i felt that i was awake the whole time.. but i actually came out like 1 hr after entering the endoscopy clinic... cool... sedation makes you feel like a minute has passed but in actual fact, it was about 15 minutes`` but my throat feels sore cos the cam was yanked out of my mouth... i was like, when is this gg to end and... out came the tube.. u was thinking. huh so fast?? and then i was puking out all the fluids i was asked to take initially...
neway, the doc said there was nothing wrong detected in my stomach and so now they suspect it may be a small gall stone.. and am told to go for a ultrascan next friday.. have to miss lectures... sigh

gg to sleep now... feeling sleepy and tummy feels funny too... bleah.
