Sometimes he can be so sweet

he's just so sweet sometimes, i wast taken aback this afternoon at his caring gesture he did just for me, i'm talking about jack ya, he's really a great brother if you'd take away the dripping scarsm from his answers he provides and his aloof attitude... i really am shocked. i was studying today at starbux with junel, daniel and tian today, he called me at about 3.15pm threatening me to dispose of my laptop cos he's back from his hostel and my laptop was on his table... he had brought his desktop and printer back from the hostel. he was so rude! i was pissed. and after 40 minutes he called asking if i was at suntec.. apparently part of the highway had collapsed and he was concerned and told me not to take the buses that got on nicoll highway.. i was impressed. but then again maybe cos its a national, hmm catastrophe? no.. too strong.. a national accident? mishap?... yes, but i think he was being really sweet. to think i saw his call and was thinking yes, what the heck do you want now?..

incident 2: i was going home after jap lesson today and he was waiting for my call to pick me up.. double shocker.. i was like, wert, you, wanna pick ME up? hmm.. i don't know man.. he just doesn't do shit like that. then i got home, and my parents bought two sets of dvds he requested from their trip, some hong kong serial and he actually ASKED me if i wanted to watch it with him. i told him i had exams and he was like, "ok, why don't i watch one first so that we can watch the other one together...?" me,"huh....?" He continues,"Which one do you prefer to watch? then i watch the other one first...?" me *shocked*

yes we're talking about the sacarstic brother i have, the intelligent scarstic brother, who forgot my birthday last year, who threatened to throw my stuff away(which were lying innocently in my room). yes, miracles do happen.. but what do i get when i ask him more about the nicoll highway collapse?(he was home the whole day) him,"you'd read about it tmr" ._. sigh..

neway i was shocked about the collapse of the bridge today.. first instinct was like, omgawd, anyone injured??... seems that there has been one comfirmed dead and 3 others still missing. 2 of sporean chinese and 1 chinese national. i really pray they get through this.. its tragic when sometihing like that happens around us. makes you reflect, hey not everyhing is as safe as it seems. nicoll highway, like i travel that highway almost everyday to school. dunno, makes you think about everything around you in singapore. and makes people realize that we can't take everything for granted. for more information: channel news asia
