Nothing lasts forever...
just came back from shopping with my mom... i went to school only to have a cup of soya milk... meeting was cancelled... crap. went down for nothing. neways, went out with my mom later, met her at the hosp cos she went to visit my aunt..

on our way back, i casually said that by the age of 38 and i do not get married, i would live in my own apartment.. that brought us on the topic about buying houses.. she said that there's a private apartment opposite bay shore, near villa marina.. still under construction though, she said that when my brother and i move out of the house next time she would consider moving there and living there for the rest of her life with my dad. she drove me there to look at the apartment. i can see why she liked it. it was pristine white and look pretty spacious yet not too big. there's no simming pool, they do need one anyway, since my dad swims elsewhere.. meaning no maintanence fee.. moreover there was a huge balcony. she lamented that it would be nice to have coffee at the balcony reading the papers.. plus, it was at the east side. near our place.. not too far away. she would't wanna move to someplace else. and its also a pretty quiet area. i kinda liked it too..

while driving back, she wondered how much it would cost and said, hmm, dont' know if dad likes it.. ask him down to take a look when the show room is done.. i was thinking aloud, aren't you moving only like say 10 years later and not like now? what's the hurry? but apparently she smiled and she said that she got kinda sick of living here and wanted a new environment.. i was stunned. what? you mean you wanna move now?? like now, now?? i was defensive.. i argued that why move now? can't we move like when we're older? but she saw it as a light matter and laughed at my childish reasons. she said i would be going overseas for my education in about a year anyway, why the uptight concerned face... ._.

i hate to move. i hate it. i like everything now. i don't wanna move. everything is perfect why move? hups is just living so damn near, serene is just two streets away, eliza too.. parkway is just 3 stops away. the library and cc is just 10 minutes away. there's a wet market. there's tk park, jsut 10 minutes away. the beach is just an underpass away. katong is so god damn near. i love my room. i love my house. i love my messy room. i love my garden. i love this place. i love my neighbours. i love my room. plus, it will be a HUGE hassle to move. rrraaaggh. i don't wanna move! sobz. and i thought this sort of thing only happens to little kids. you may find it absurd.. i mean you're only moving like another 2 km away.. won't siglap be nearer now? i know.. but, but....

i just love this place..... nothing lasts forever....
