why doesn't she understand?

my mom still doesn't understand. and she still does not believe in me. she does not believe in my capabilities and she does not believe that i will be able to survive on that little pay. she didn't say it out loud in my face but she meant it. she still does not understand my values. my sole value which i so strongly believe in is family. as long as you have your family with you, you have nothing to fear. that is what i believe in. second, i believe in living a life without regrets. i would rather have tried and failed rather than to not try at all.
i jsut came back from work today. since its still the holidays, i have offered my help. had dinner and she wanted me to sit down. she said that her friend (whom i knew) asked her about me. asking when i was graduating and what were my plans. she said that i planned to work. and person A strongly disagree that i should work. and she was telling me this. i mean, why would she be telling me this if it wasn;t the fact that she does not agree with my decision. i jsut want her to understand what i believe in and that i truly understand what i am doing and i'm nnot jsut making this decision like without much consideration and such. she ended up saying she does and all. but. come on. why was she so agitated about it in the first place if she wasn't bothered by it. i don't see why i can't get my degree (if i feel that even coming to the working society and feel like i can't survive without that damn paper) after say like 2 years of work? if i have the capability to go back studying after 2 years, why not. and i believ ein my own capabilities. i don't believe in a life full of regrets. what matteres to me is that you are hppy with your own decision and you live the life you chose to. you blame no one. and you have no regrets what so ever. whats the point of me losing this opportunity and 5 years down the road think: what if i had... it doesn't work. for me at least. i see this working stint as an experience. my mom sees it as the death of my future. sighs. what a bad way to start the weekend.

and she doesn't even know that the boss has already offered. i was kinda in shock and felt really honoured. and as i have said earlier. i will grab the chance when given. i am sending my resume to him on his request, tmr.
