what a WEEKEND!!
oh yes, and before i forget,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! whoooop!
had a new year party at granny's last friday, had lots and lots of goood foood! swear i put on at least 5 pounds. we had so much food and merry making`` its been a long time since i had so much good food & drinks!
went home late, had me driving my counsins and my brother back home, they stayed over and we played mah-jong till like i don't know what time. i ended up sleeping cos needed to wake up early.
on saturday i woke up, took the car and went to shai's house. to sleep. hah. ended up spending the day with debby. blading plans were cancelled cos it was raining.. drove to parkway. really crowded. but i'm so proud of myself, cos i parked in such a crowded car park! whoooop! had nice dinner with my colleagues at tanglin. ate at don noodle bar. nice cheap chix katsu set. i'm on a budget :P sent marianna home and tried to look for pple i can pick up to go out with. but alas. no one.
went home tried to bake a cake for my colleague since its new year and since i've been getting car rides all this while. but failed. miserably. the cake mix is a scam. i swear. i followed instructions! ah well. went to hups place to complain and asked for suggestions ended up going for a car ride. so fun! haha we drove and drove and drove didn't know where we were heading. as long as there was a road, we went! set a time to reach home by 2, ended up going home at 3.15am. hah` the things we set out to do.. drove to many places, lau pa sat, Msultan, river valley, orchard rd, orange groove, almost got lost there, almost head on to bukit timah, went to holland V and finally went home` i pumped petrol too! first time! whoooop!
i even met with a police stop. was about 2.30am? the police officer was like so near me, and she asked where we were heading and i was like thinking, erh... haha cos really we didn't have any destination. so i said we were just driving around.. she looked and after confirming that i was not drunk and was i the right state of mind, said,"okie, have fun, drive safely" she's pretty nice` :) my first police road stop. haha i was so hoping she would ask, license please, but oh well. hah!
went to work on sunday. woke up at 8.30. work starts at 8.30. needless to say i flew, but i'm careful not to speed. had fun at work,though it rained the whole day. so as expected we were soaking wet, throughout the day, had like 5 times change of clothes. end of the day we had the water game again! whooop! so fun! this time the water was ice-cold! we put ice cubes! brrr! the weather was already so cold and we had ice water splashed onto us plus the fact that we played it outdoors this time! hooboy. stong winds and all, i swear we could have gotten hypothermia.. but FUN!
wahhaa! and the highlight of it all was that i was wearing a rashguardrashguard, its like sleeved t-shirt lycra top together board shorts. the kind the MMtrainers wear. :) my first taste of being a MMT. i think i looked stupid but they said i looked cute. i don't see the relevance. its jsut a nicer way of agreeing wiht me.
almost towards the end of the whole session, i was up against vin, suddenly without prior warning and not even a slightest hunch that i may get sabotaged, i was suddenly grabbed by my ankles and wrists. imagine my shock. i was like wailing "waht have i done wrong?!?!" they carried me, rather lifted me from where i was, (carried sounds like a smooth maneuver, which it was not) strutted all the way to the beach.

they even had the courtesy of swinging me 3 times before throwing me out into the cold waters. how considerate. i would have grabbed them by their arms and swing them into the waters, had they not run back to the beach like mad.. giggling all the way back. its hard to believe this gang of mischievious nimkumputs' age ranges from 24 to 29, with one being 18 years old. but it was good fun. :)

off to pick my parents from the airport now! toodles!
