so this is how its like to be old and single.

i came home this evening. checked on my folks. they're doing well.
went to top up the fuel in the car. tried to get some dates. that didn't work. no one was free apparently. and the free ones were just not the people i wanted to meet. at least not when they're interested in meeting for attraction interest.
decide to sit around till i got something to do. but the instant i turned on the tube, i knew it. i knew i was going to hang out at home watching nonsensical drama which i didn't really care about. which followed suit. i watched nonsensical drama + infotainment on tiger sanctuaries. i had calamari for dinner. and also that was a whole lot of oil wasted for that little squid.

i realized that this exactly, would be the kind of senario i will face eventually in a event that i am single when i'm 35.
i would be living in a home of my own.
having dinners in front of the tv, watching tube feeds.
no one would be free cos they will have their own commitments.
and their occasional "i want to stay home" moments.

there will be things to do actually.
but that is if i don't procrastinate.
like, i could have cleaned up the house today. but i didn't. i could have called my grandma to hang with her. but i didn't. i could have washed the cars, but i didn't. hell, i'm that lazy that i could have finished my fifth element movie but i didn't. i found it too tiring to finish it.

i will be a lazy lonely old woman if i stay single when i'm 35.
that's a pretty sad thought.
but yet at the same time, commitment is such a scary word.
